I really needed to brighten up my smile for a family reunion, so I decided to buy the Oral-B 3000 Professional Electric Toothbrush. Would it really help whiten my teeth in just two weeks, as Oral-B claims? Read on to find out. The 3000 model is a slick looking white and blue, battery powered toothbrush with a replaceable head. It includes a plug-in charging stand, which also holds four brush heads, making it a snap to keep everything organized and in easy reach.

I’ve used Sonicare toothbrushes in the past – as well as Oral B and a few other brands – but decided I’d opt for the Philips Sonicare R732 HealthyWhite Power Toothbrush a few months ago as a test. It has the “Healthy White” whitening feature which I expected to be no more than a gimmick, but still, I was up for trying something new!

I personally use a Phillips Sonicare FlexCare Plus and I have to say, I love it, as with many of the other Sonicare models I’ve used over the years. However, when it came to buying a Philips Sonicare for Kids Toothbrush for each of my two young children (a 9 year old girl and a 6 year old boy), I wasn’t 100% sure that it would really be worth it. After all, they’re not exactly cheap. But, I bit the bullet and gave it a shot.

I was initially drawn in to purchase the Oral-B Pulsonic Sonic Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush due to it’s simplicity. It doesn’t have a lot of features that I see as unnecessary and as a result, is not only cheaper, but is also far slimmer and lighter than any other model I’ve ever come across.

The handle is nice and slim so it’s easy to hold and maneuver, and is great for traveling. I think comfortable is the best way to describe it. It’s also extremely quiet. I hadn’t used an electric toothbrush for a good few years so I was expecting to see an improvement, and in terms of motor noise, this really is noticeable.

I’ve actually used a number of different electric toothbrush brands over the years, and Oral-B has always left me satisfied. This particular electric toothbrush was specifically recommended to me by my dentist who uses it as well. I was pretty curious about how well this worked. I mean I’ve tried a lot of Oral-B toothbrushes but never this particular model so I just ordered the Oral-B Professional Care 1000 Power Toothbrush from Amazon and gave it a shot.

I was initially drawn to the Oral B Model S-200 Sonic Complete Rechargeable Power Toothbrush due to it’s simplicity. It’s got some good features but it seemed to avoid some unnecessary gimmicks and was thus a bit cheaper. That’s exactly what I was after.

And so far, I think I’ve made a great decision! I’ve been using the Model S-200 for over a year now, and I love it. First of all, it just works. It does what it was designed to do and just gives a good, effective clean. My teeth and gums feel very healthy and clean, and my dentist even noticed an improvement since my last check up (that was about a month after first using the brush).

I’ve used a number of Oral-B electric tooth brushes in the past and have generally been pleased with them, they are well designed and generally work very well for oral hygiene. After playing around with a few new toothbrushes, I decided it was time to go back to Oral-B again. After a little researching, I went for the Oral-B Professional Care 8950 – 2 Handles & 4 Brush Heads kit, so I had one for the wife as well. The fact that this pack comes with 2 handles and 4 brush heads makes it a great value item if you’re trying to get someone else in your household started on electric toothbrushes.

Years ago, my dentist told me a little while ago that I needed to take better care of my gums, so I upgraded my normal toothbrush to the Philips Sonicare FlexCare Plus.  I’m so glad I made the switch!  The thing that makes this rechargeable toothbrush so unique is its Gum Care mode.  This mode goes over your teeth for two minutes, then spends another minute specifically working on your gums. The head of this toothbrush is contoured to match the shape of your gums.   The brush even includes sonic technology, which was created to drive fluid to your gums.  To make sure the toothbrush stays clean, there’s a UV-light sanitizer built into the brush. All in all the package came with one toothbrush, two heads, a UV head sanitizer, a travel charger, a hard travel case, and two travel caps.

(While the Waterpik Ultra Water Flosser isn’t an electric toothbrush, I decided to write a review about it because its such an amazing product and it works perfectly alongside any electric toothbrush for maximum dental care!) The Waterpik Ultra Water Flosser is something people with dental braces and people who hate the traditional flossing method must have on their vanity sink. Ths set comes with 8 handy dandy attachments such as a set of three tongue cleaners and jets, one pocket pik as well as one specially designed for orthodontic braces. This system delivers water pressure of 10-90 PSI at 1200 pulses/minute and is a stellar gum cleaning equipment to dislodge embedded plaque and blast it into smithereens. Your dentist will no doubt be shocked to see how marvelously clean and healthy your teeth and gums has become and how mysteriously diligent you have been with your dental hygiene recently.

The Oral B 5000 is a state of the art toothbrush that cleans teeth better than many other standard brands. With the Oral B “deep cleaning” mode it can clean and get rid of up to 99.7% of plaque from areas that are difficult to get to in your mouth. The brush has replaceable head alerts, pressure sensors, a digital clock, and a travel toothbrush case.
