Waterpik Ultra Water Flosser Review – A Fantastic Alternative to Flossing!

(While the Waterpik Ultra Water Flosser isn’t an electric toothbrush, I decided to write a review about it because its such an amazing product and it works perfectly alongside any electric toothbrush for maximum dental care!) The Waterpik Ultra Water Flosser is something people with dental braces and people who hate the traditional flossing method must have on their vanity sink. Ths set comes with 8 handy dandy attachments such as a set of three tongue cleaners and jets, one pocket pik as well as one specially designed for orthodontic braces. This system delivers water pressure of 10-90 PSI at 1200 pulses/minute and is a stellar gum cleaning equipment to dislodge embedded plaque and blast it into smithereens. Your dentist will no doubt be shocked to see how marvelously clean and healthy your teeth and gums has become and how mysteriously diligent you have been with your dental hygiene recently.

Having gotten my teeth a an orthodontic situation (clear braces!), I was in search for a good water flosser to clean those hard to reach corners such as in between teeth gaps and gaps between the oral brace. Waterpik Ultra Water Flosser does just that. It has a very strong pulse the moment you turn it on, so it is best to start with a lower setting. 1 being the weakest and 10 being the strongest, I would suggest going with 3-4 for starters and build up the power as you gain more confidence with the power level.

The pressure dial is precise and responsive, and I like the rotatable torque notch on the pik. I don’t have to strain my neck or worry about the tubing when I do the insides of my teeth. Some people might find it a drag to have to stop in the midst of cleaning to fill the reservoir but the process is really quick and simple.

ust have a big bottle of water nearby and pour the water in whenever the levels are low. Be sure to avoid touching the seal to avoid leakage so that the tank goes on tight. It does not take very much water to fill this tank. As far as noise levels goes, Waterpik Ultra Water Flosser is a docile, happy worker that doesn’t complain or make a real din when it does its job.

There is a lid on the top to prevent water from being contaminated. There are several ways which I can see Waterpik Ultra being at a disadvantage. The system possibly leak if you aren’t careful with the refilling or careless about leaving the Waterpik outside of your mouth before having to turn the switch off.

However, if common sense and heighten awareness is practiced, these shouldn’t be a problem. Just be sure to place the Waterpik at a safe spot where flooding would be less of a problem or empty the tank when not in use as a preliminary measure. I did not encounter any of these problems with Waterpik Ultra Water Flosser so far as I usually have it empty overnight and a bottle of water to refill in the morning. So far it’s my gums and teeth that have benefited from the purchase of Waterpik Ultra Water Flosser. This system is durable and can last a long time if you keep it in a good place out of reach from possible factors for impending mishaps. An awesome investment dental care!

Highly, highly recommended!
